Beautiful sunny day for a hike and not too hot.  Still some Turk’s Cap Lilies blooming as well as several Featherbells. However, fruit is forming and leaves are turning. Fall is creeping up on us!

Botanical plant names seem to change almost every day, but for now we use those approved by ITIS, the Integrated Taxonomic Information System.
