Parkway South – August 26, 2022

Stops were Wagon Gap Overlook, Log Hollow Overlook, and Wolf Mountain Overlook. It started pouring with rain just as we finished and we had to abandon all plans of going for lunch at Courthouse Valley Overlook (except for Jim who stopped by and found the Stiff Gentian there). Mt. Hardy Trail – August 12, 2022

Wow! Great turnout! So many members that we had to split up to hike in the Wilderness area. After the hike some of us stopped at Wolf Mountain Overlook where Randy spotted the first blooming Grass of Parnassus of 2022. Photography by Penny Longhurst & Randy Richardson.
