What a great day for a hike – not too hot & no rain. We were a little late for the spring flowers and too early for the late summer flowers, but our timing for the Fireweeds was just perfect, and it looks like it’s going to be a great season for Blueberries & Blackberries!

Botanical plant names seem to change almost every day, but for now we use those approved by ITIS, the Integrated Taxonomic Information System.
