Parkway Deep South – May 5, 2023

A new field trip and it’s a keeper! Our timing was perfect. Spring ephemerals were busting out all over and we identified some new plants. As Sunflower used to say, “It was glorious!”. Stops were John Rock Overlook, Wolf Mountain Overlook, Rough Butt Bald Overlook, Haywood Gap, and Bear Pen Gap Overlook. Fortunately Lucy had written articles about two of the plants we saw.
