Lower Cat Gap Trail – April 8, 2022
Wow! We rarely see masses of Trout Lilies and Large-flowered Trillium flowering on our field trips. We’re usually too late, because we walk this trail later in the spring. However, this year we really nailed it. Acres of blooms! Great show! Also found an interesting patch of Wood Anemone (Anemone quinquefolia) with reddish leaves and pink flowers.
