Tanbark Tunnel to Bull Gap – Virtual Field Trip!

History of Rattlesnake Lodge

We haven’t had a chance to walk the Tanbark to Bull Gap trail this year – too much other good stuff to see elsewhere, so here’s a virtual field trip.  It’s a perfect day out there – not too hot, no rain or thunder, and the Fringed Campion in full bloom.

Photography by Ken Borgfeldt, David Heavner, Penny Longhurst, Jim Poling, Lucy Prim, Randy Richardson, & Joe Standaert. (Click on any picture to zoom & enter the slide show). Plants that are non-native to North America are indicated by an asterisk (*) placed after the species name.
