Parkway Deep South – May 6, 2024

Well, the weather was not on our side but we were undaunted! We started at Bear Pen Gap Overlook in drizzle & fog and wandered North on the Parkway. By the time we reached Wolf Mountain Overlook we and the plants were soaking wet! Naturally, by the time we were ready to give up and abandon lunch, the rain stopped. Photography by Ken Borgfeldt, Cindy Carpenter, Mary Knierim, Penny Longhurst, Jim Poling, Lucy Prim, & Randy Richardson. Click on any picture to zoom & enter the slide show.
