Another wildflowers and waterfalls trip! We started in Portland and quickly revisited the Columbia Gorge waterfalls before heading south to Silverton. We then continued south to Silver Falls State Park, Cottage Grove, Lemolo Lake, & Crater Lake (only 1 mile of the loop road was open because of snow!). We then turned back northward to Odell Lake, Bend, Sisters, & back to Silverton & then Portland. We saw 69 named waterfalls and a ton of wildflowers! If you can identify the unknowns please add a comment. Pictures are arranged in the order described above. Plants that are non-native to North America are indicated by an asterisk (*) placed after the species name. Photography by Penny Longhurst. Click on any picture to zoom and enter the slide show.
