Twin Bridges – April 8, 2019

Our timing was perfect. It started pouring with rain as we were making our way back to the cars after lunch up by the train tracks! If you missed it last year, here is the  video about the Class J steam locomotive Norfolk and Western 611 on its last run up the Saluda grade which starts at around 1:00 into the movie. It starts to stall at 3:00 and restarts around 6:30.  That is some dirty smoke! Pictures are below.
